Chia pudding with caramelized apples and pears
Healthy sweet dessert
What we will need
- 400 ml classic milk (you can use/try almond, rice or coconut)
- 6 tablespoon of seeds
- bit of honey as you like (to sugar milk with chia seeds; instead of honey try maple or agave syrup)
- Greek yogurt (or soy yogurt)
- apricot jam or other jam you like
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 medium apple
- 1 medium pear
- 1 tablespoon butter
How to do it
Chia Pudding is need to be prepare first, because it needs to be matured. Chia seeds mix together with milk and honey. Let stand for an ideal refrigerator overnight to its consistency have the correct density.
On the final decorating has to be done caramelized apples and pears. Chop them into smaller cubes and do not forget to get rid of the cores. Put the pan on a tablespoon of butter and fry apples and pears (to be little orange and softer) - do not forget sprinkle little bit with lemon, fruits will stay with fresh colors (apple and pears are going to brown easily). You can also try caramelized wallnuts and use them on the top of your final chia pudding.
Prepare 4 glasses (200 ml), and you can start layering. Begin need 3-4 tablespoons chia pudding, then one to two teaspoons of apricot jam, which comes plain yogurt (or pre stir jogut and jam together). Finally, add the caramelized apple with a pear and serve perfect healhty dessert.
